DANCE & FITNESS is a exciting exercise regime put together for adults who want to get fit or learn the first basic steps of dancing. We offer fitness classes, dance classes and mixes of both for you to get the whole experience of what it really feels like to sweat it out.

GC DANCE FIT has numerous locations all over the Gold Coast & its getting busier by the week.

Here at DANCE & FITNESS we offer 4 different styles of classes:

The two classes with no dancing in it are

Cardio & Tone - 1 hour class - no dancing involved - fitness class - women only - This class is an intense workout! Awesome for the ladies that do not like using weights & like to workout with a big group of women. We tone every muscle of the body starting from our feet and working all the way up! Cardio is throughout the whole workout so sweating happens every class and exercises are different week by week. We work and switch on many muscles that others dont and the results are fast! Shaping your figure is what we love to do best! Be sure to bring a water bottle, towel and a positive mind set because you will be pushed to the limit!!! Every lady is different - some want to lose weight, put on muscle, shape certain area & some just want to do regular exercise - in cardio & tone we cater for all of you

Stretch & Lengthening - 1 hour class - no dancing involved - both gender's welcomed - This class works on stretching every muscle to its full potential in the correct way. We hold every stretch for a while, working on breathing, reducing muscle tension & increasing coordination. The stretches are dance/pilates based as we believe thats where the most flexibility range comes from. This will help athletes & everyday people with strength & flexibility. Great for injury prone people or people that do a lot of cardio/weights. Herbal tea is given to you on arrival, room is filled with acoustic music & class is finished off with a little head massage.


The two classes with dancing in it are

Fitness Funk - 1 hour class - fitness & dancing together - women only - For the first 30 minutes this class does a mini cardio & tone & to finish off the last half we do a funk dance routine. This is perfect for someone that wants to learn the first basic steps of funk but also gets the benefits of working out at the same time. We do a different routine every class so your body is continually improving with new & exciting moves. If you like to sweat and the music pumping then this is the class for you - funk dance is easier than hiphop & more of a jazz style - perfect for past dancers.

Hiphop Basics - 1 hour class - dance class - both genders welcomed - This class is all about gaining confidence! Whether you just want to learn a few dance moves for when you hit the town next or to challenge yourself in a different type of dance style - we cater for everyone. You will learn how to isolate different parts of the body at once, count to music, understand rhythm, fell sexy and to have fun. Class involves a 15 minute stretch, a 15 minute hiphop warm up and then a fun, hard hitting, new routine every week. If you have never danced before or used to then this is perfect for you!
